Hi! My real-life moniker is Irma S. Ahmed, but I mainly use my nickname Aimo among friends and in the Net. So far, I've lived virtually all my life in a South East Asian country called Malaysia. I've started to take up art seriously when I was 9, after reading a translated Japanese manga that truthfully has created the biggest impact in my life. Besides Japanese anime/manga, I'm also inspired by Western creative portrayals in both art and prose; those who spur me to improve myself with their renderings and creations include Nobuteru Yuuki, CLAMP, Larry Elmore, Raymond E. Feist, and Neil Gaiman ( just to name a few). Of all the numerous genres that are present in art, my ultimate favourite has always been fantasy. This is due to my overexposure to fairy tales as a little kid, and the fact that fantasy art allows me to detach myself from conforming to reality and just let me draw what I damn well please ^_^

I usually work with dry media such as markers and colour pencils since they are convenient and not as messy as wet media. But I also sometimes dabble in gouache ( albeit poorly since I'm a novice) with the excuse to diversify. Nowadays, I prefer to combine my hand-drawn artworks with computer-rendered ones to come up with strange, different, and at times exciting hybrid results---currently, I'm a frequent user of Painter 6.

Until now, I still have no definite idea of what I intend to embark in as a vocation. But there is certainly one thing that I'm very sure of; I'm going to keep on pouring out my ideas into artworks as long as I can still handle a pencil/pen/brush/mouse/whatever!

I truly hated your artstyle, cuz mangas are silly and I dislike then very much.You are an awful cartoonist,and this site is full of idiots.If you have saw their nicknames,you`d know what i am talking about. If you want a good advice, you should get all your drawings and throw it in a trash bin. Damn you and your elves or whatever they`re called of.
