SciFi and Fantasy Art: Grief

A sad picture for a sad reason. The sketch came to me shortly after I got the phone from my mum call to say my Grandad had passed away. I coloured it a couple of days later. It wasn't unexpected, and he'd had a good innings, and I'd been able to see him to say goodbye the night before but that wasn't about to stop me grieving. I miss him. I think this picture gets across how I was feeling. I ended up drawing Blackjack because he's my oldest character and drawing him comes to me most naturally.

I also know that art is a great way to relieve/express all sorts of emotions (anger, sorrow, joy ect.) Any who, I love your art, especially your character blackjack here. Heep up the terriffic art!
