SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sorceress layout

This picture is of a character class for my RPG. It was inspired by a Japanese artist named Masemune Shirow Seishinsha. I can only hope to achieve his level of mastery of coputer art.

He did an artbook called Intron Depot or something like that. With a whole lot of scantily clad fems in it. I used him as an excuse to draw and color a scantily clad female. My wife hates it when I draw them cause she thinks that is what I want out of a woman. I guess I could start drawing round women but then she would say something crazy. I will always love my wife no matter how round or sticklike she gets. This comment will be deleted soon.

she be a cutie - is the talking crystal ball like a cursed object that she can't get rid of that talks all the time at inconvienient moments - i know a guy who put an amulet like that in a rpg he dm'd way back a number of years ago - left it innocently lying around for the party to find and someone - the fighter i think it was - pick up ... the object wasn't exactly hostile as such - it just tended never to shut up - usualy right when the element of suprise would otherwise have been real useful (i don't remeber if the poor guy ever did get rid of it - or how ... ~12

I've noticed that in a couple of your pictures you've got the breasts looking a little detached. Don't get me wrong, I think that they're quite lovely, but they need to be a little more connected to the underarm. If you're going to make them that large, then they need to come around to her side also, they wouldn't just hang there unless she was facing downwards. I hope that helps ya out. (c:

The colouring is simply amazing, but I think the drawing itself is a little bit off. The hand angle seems wrong, as does the foot. Overall though, I'd say it's a pretty beautiful picture though.

Ahh, the joys of a scantily clad sorceress...That is, before you get her angry, heh heh heh. A sorceress dun need clothes to go WHOOPOW! and *poof* you're in a world of pain,..Figuratively and sometimes literally. heheheh.

:-) Jonathan M. Melius replies: "I was trying to mimic Shiro Masemune. He makes some scantily clad women. I was going to put a 3d generated background but didn't know enough 3d back then."
