SciFi and Fantasy Art: E Spiritus SanctiOne evening, the Marion Anderson string quartet requested to play for my painting class and was generous enough to provide us canvases and paint on which we were to paint whatever their music inspired us to. Then, during their real preformance for the University, they would display these paintings behind them. It was a wonderful experience and I'm very pleased with what I produced during this session. I had about five offers to purchase it, in fact, but I turned them all down because I had decided from the start that I was giving this painting to my mother for Christmas. She is an abstract winged woman, in case you couldn't tell. Done in oils on 24X36 canvas. | |
