SciFi and Fantasy Art: Damien and Sefira BlackthorneOk, so it started out as insomnia. It ended up as the greatest work of art I think I have ever done. I sat down, and just started drawing the outline in pencil. Scanned it. Then darkened and printed it back out. My printer was almost out of ink, so I had to darken it again with black ink pen. Then came two and a half hours of shading, then coloring with a mix of marker and colored pencil. Then scanned once more and had a few minute things changed in Adobe. Set as the middle aged form of Damien, this photo touches me deeply, as it is set with his ex-wife, Sefira. This photo is dedicated with all of my love to Danni Dieas, a dear friend, who without her, this picture would have never been possible. You gave me the inspiration. This picture is for you love. | |
