| 16 Sep 2000 | Micki | This picture reminds me of me I love the weapon too. I bet this picture would look great with color ^_^ | |
| 26 Oct 2000 | Deepe FreeZ | My freind has a weapon like that, it's a katana blade attached to a snow-shovel handle. cool pic | |
| 22 Jun 2001 | David F. DuTremble AKA Eifersucht | I believe that weapon would be called "kwandao" or "pudao". It is a Kung Fu weapon. | |
| 3 Jan 2002 | Aaron Peet | The style of weapon is more accurately called a Naginata, and similar to a glaive. Both are basically a polearm with a curved blade attached directly to a shaft designed for slashing, but easlily capable of piercing as well. | |
| 7 Dec 2002 | James E. Porter | ok to set the record straight, the weapon is a version of the chinese weapon. I can't remember the official chinese name but it is commonly called a horse cutter. this is an elvish version though and as such much lighter then the 12-15 lbs it would weigh in china. | |
| 18 Feb 2003 | Harui | She kind of looks like a female samurai! Yay for samurai! (I know there are no female samurai, but if there WERE...) | |
| 31 May 2004 | Anonymous | The weapon in the Elven Knight's hand is very similar to the Japanese weapon that is named Naganata...I don't know if the weapon is meant to be the same or if it was designed based on the Naganata but it is very similar, the only difference I can see is the handle is about a foot and a half short...but on lighter terms...its a really cool drawing...the character is very impressive...keep up the good work. | |
| 26 Jul 2005 | Drowgirl | I think that weapon is called a "glaive". The High elven king Gil-galad wielded one in the second age... | |
