| 2 Dec 2000 | Thomas S. Hansen | WoW, it looks like you've drawn every single leaf on every single bush and tree in this forest. Great details (maybe too much). | |
| 11 Jan 2001 | Rachelle Auble | Wow! (I know, I know...not supposed to do a 'wow!' or 'I like this' comment *EG*) I love pictures with tons of detail...I can never do them myself because I don't have the attention span or patience to finish them but this is really great...I can't believe you call it a 'scetch'! | |
| 6 Feb 2001 | Michelle Reames | Man, oh man! I first saw the unicorn, and as I scrolled down and saw the hunters, my breath went away. Absolutely amazing. And what a story it tells. | |
| 18 Feb 2001 | Arjen E. Pilon | OOOOHHH! The detail, me like... Very beautiful, II really like tose detailed line drawings, they give a good atmosphere, my only problem is that this pic is too SMALL to enjoy all the details I know are there | |
| 10 Apr 2001 | Sami. T | can i die now??? you people call this a sketch??? hmph. well, i like my stick men. even if they look for like apes....well any way, truly amazing pic. i love it!!! | |
| 4 Jun 2001 | Olivia 'Vega' Tan | Hey there! I have a picture called 'Ambush' as well, but it's nothing like yours. (It's in my Zone47 gallery.) Honestly, the title fits the composition. I was almost lost in all the detail! Great work, I'm amazed at your inking techniques. Something that I have to work on too! =) | |
| 18 Nov 2001 | Ai Lian | Great Job!!! as i can see, it is a hard work!!!! u r really brilliant!! Keep it up.! | |
| 20 Nov 2001 | Alfrieda Louise Riemke de Haas | Look at all the detail! My god, how long did you work on this? Okay, obviously, I cannot but respect this and in addition, it's very beautiful! Jan Corné van Dongen replies: "It took me longer to answer your comment then it took to draw." | |
| 18 Jan 2002 | Sam King | OOeer! this must have taken a while! Realy impressive, but at this scale I cant see whats going on. Jan Corné van Dongen replies: "Well it is an ambush " | |
| 1 Nov 2002 | Adammm | It must've taken a good bit of patience to finish this one. I commmend you. However, the piece is a bit confusing in that there is little change in detail from foreground to background; the detail should decrease with distance. I'm sure you probably know that, as your art is far superior to mine, but I thought I'd comment anyway. Jan Corné van Dongen replies: "I know, but detail detail detail, cannot get enough of it sometimes." | |
