SciFi and Fantasy Art: En garde!

She IS without a doubt now my personal favorite in your gallery! (I'm in love)! Although she looks pretty lethal with that vegtable cutter! : ))

I can't believe it... no comments until now. I love this. She is posed so well. You did an awesome job!

AHhh Girl that pose is GREAT!!! Her left hand was a good touch! That face soooo rocks... You made my mistake that I ALWAYS MAKE no matter what I always do it. Her right hand is backwards griping the sword.. That's funny because I always do that... This is really good... Again you and that dang SHADEING!!!!

Really beutifull (nice claws there) this must have taken soooo long what with all the shading and detail but she looks a little... elongated. Well, i t at least adds to her elegance...

*draws her saber and stands in a ready postion* Alright..come on I'll fight you..*gets tapped on the shoulder by Chase* What is it? *He whispers in her ear* Oh..it's just a pic..Well of course I knew that.

um, I'm reeeeaaally sorry for being so picky, and I'm well aware that this is fantasy, and so artists can do what they like, and all that kind of thing, but as a fencer, her pose really isn't practical. Before she had a slightest chance of defending herself, she'd be impaled. She just wouldn't be able to bring her sword down to defend herself. In fencing, en guarde is when the sword is in front of you, guarding you from an attack. Plus her right hand (without the sword) would be behind her, to protect it.
But as a drawing, her pose is really cool. Eyecatching, interesting, and her right hand is a nice touch. Her legs are really good, they're in the right position to give her balance, thrust, etc. Basically, it's a pefect fencing pose, but with the sword in the wrong hand.
Again, I'm incredibly sorry for being awkward, but I couldn't leave it unsaid
