SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon Killers

Okay, this pic needs a bit of explaination. A long time ago I drew a parody sketch for my mom that had me with the build of Conan the Barbarian with a sexy girl wrapped around my leg while I wielded a mighty sword. My mom thought it was humorous so she wanted me to draw a similar parody pic of her and her childhood friend dressed like fantasy heroes similar to the one I drew for her earlier. Mind you, they are both in their 70's now so I thought it would be more humorous if I kept them the same age as they are now but with the build one would expect from a fantasy genre. It was awkward for me to draw since putting a sexy body on my *MOM* kinda wierded me out :op. So I put off her request as long as possible but finally got it done 2 months later. BTW, the photograph of my mom I had to work from was a bit dated (back in the early 90's, late 80's I believe) so she looks a bit younger than she does now, but I think it worked out well. This pic was already posted earlier but got lost with the big website crash earlier this year.

This picture is hilarious! I love the concept and the workmanship is awesome! Despite your weird feeling, you did an excellent job and I'm sure she is proud. Wonderfuly done. I can't get over it.

This is a great drawing, with a hilarious story to boot, hee hee. I don't think I'd be able to bring myself to draw my mom with a sexy body lol...

Hilarous drawing and great concept!
Poor dragon, though! I love their expressions - great job, and keep it up!

X-D That guy's face is the funniest! You need to work on attaching his head to the body, however, because it doesn't quite look like it belongs there. Once you work it out, it'll be the funniest!

Great artwork! You are a pencil shading master! This must have taken ages. How do you shade so much and still keep the paper smudge free? Are you a lesser art Diety?11

:-) Matt Jarrett replies: "Hardly. I use a 4h and a 2h pencil for blending and shading. I don’t use shading sticks. With the proper technique, you shouldn’t have to. But thanks for the ego boost!"
