SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dark Mistress

From the depths she comes...from those dark places where man fears to tread.  She is power incarnate...for that which is her domain, holds the destruction of man in it's grasp, and it is her destiny to hold its evil at bay.  her beauty inspires their obsession, her power, their fear.  She welcomes this immortal station with her dark embrace, her passion wrapping her in a coccoon of strength no evil can shatter....This is the second piece in my apprentice series, drawn for a group of gamers who have tirelessly expended so much effort designing a sequel module to the fan favorite adventure "the ruins of undermountain" published by tsr hobbies in the second edition format of dungeons and dragons.
