SciFi and Fantasy Art: Zeus and Hades Cover Art

Not much to say about this one except when I shrunk it down in photoshop, it made all the lines all jagged, so I had to make it blurry to compensate. Siiigh. ^_^ Anyways, it's a cg-ed cover of Zeus (the silver haired one) and Hades 'anime-style' for this collab manga I'm working on (site is here: Studio Kokuban) Shameless Plug. A-hem :). The shading done was based on a lot of Julie Dillon stuff (I've learned most of what I know from her website. It's *awesome*) Okay I'll shut up now ^_^ Enjoy the pic, if that's possible.

Zeusmc, Anonymous- take a hike or I'll feed you to the hounds of hell. Jade is doing quite well- Hades was the eldest of the bunch (coming from Cronus and Rhea, that is) so she is well within her limits to make him look older. And Zeus is the middle child; Poseidon is the baby.
I like your illustrations, and I agree your work looks quite like the artists in CLAMP. Very good, it looks very proffesional.

Nike Athena:
You are partially right - Hades indeed is the oldest brother, but I don't think that Poseidon is the baby. You know, Cronos used to swallow his children and it took Rhea a long time (five children - two boys, three girls) to think about such trick as feeding him with a stone. So Zeus is the youngest.
Anyway the picture itself is cute. Maybe I don't like this Zeus very much, but Hades is really good.
And it's nice to see that someone draw tanned god. It can't be good to live under the sun, can it? The same thing is usually with Persephone in many stories and pictures. She's nearly always pale and rosy-cheeked and the whole thing with being like rose petal... Sorry for digressions.
