| 19 Oct 2003 | Nicolae | I ran across this picture attempting to find an image of a commonplace musical instrument, actually, called a 'seraphine'. I noticed the debate over the word's meaning, and all I know a seraphine to be is a wind instrument, which sounds with a free reed, has a case like to a piano's, is played with a similar keyboard, and has bellows worked by foot. Anyway, just trying to help out! I like the expressiveness of the picture. I have a hard time communicating feeling in my sketches. | |
