| 7 Jan 2003 | Rebecca *Spiritwolf* Tondock | *gnarf* oh well...I didn´t see the acrylic comment above the description, heh. Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "Thanx for the comment... Yes, I used craft acrylic (apple barrel brand) for this. It has a nice flat finish. I painted this on the rough side of a scrap of mat board. Sorry, you'll have to talk to her parents about her hears. I haven't seen her since I snapped her pic at a faire. Yes, this was painted from a photograph." | |
| 7 Jan 2003 | Rebecca *Spiritwolf* Tondock | huh, no comments?! *celebrates the terrible first comment dance* This is awesome!! What medium did you use? Is it from a photo? Well I really like her expression, but...she has really big ears. Amyway good job, keep it up!! | |
| 23 Mar 2003 | Margretta Sophia Meyer | Well my compliments to whoever designed her dress. There is something a little off with the hairline, although it doesn't show up in the thumbnail; I wish I could describe it better, but her hair almost looks spiky and I had to convince myself it wasn't a crown. But very pretty; I wish I had some opaque paints to play with. Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "If you want to see the whole dress, there's a pic of it here. Otherwise her hairline is pulled back with light bangs." | |

| 3 Dec 2003 | -Kev- <megrimulf@yah...com> | Nicely done! I personally swear by those Apple Barrel craft acrylics. I like them so much better than more expensive "artists" acrylics. I've been using them since around 1995 or so, when some well-known comic book cover artist (I no longer remember which one) who was looking at my portfolio at a convention asked me what I used and then told me this little "secret." King Arthur Faire at Stroud, Oklahoma, eh? I was there. Perhaps we have met... Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "I dunno. Did you come by the student art show? That was my main spot in the 2002 KAF." | |
