SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ima Bellievir

[8.5in x 11in pen and ink]
This is the first character study I did of gypsy fortune teller Ima Bellievir. A native of the countryside of the Vast, Ima often visits the cities of Procampur and Ravens Bluff.

Priceless expression and quite the haughty look! Wonderful...could be my favorite of yours. Simple perfection!

:-) Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "Thanks. I play her in the RPGA's Living City campaign. I make up vague fortunes, and convince people that I am correct in my interpretations as I subtilely modify them to suit situations. Haughty might very well be the proper word in this instance. She now has a local reputation for uncanny accuracy."

Her hands are a bit too small, but her expression is priceless!

:-) Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "Hmmm... I always thought it was the head that was too big."

I think I agree with Jeremy on the head size, but I wouldn't change a thing. Somehow this picture works anyway, and the expression is priceless!

:-) Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "Undernourishment as a child - Doesn't that make the body grow smaller in relationship to the head? I do play her as if she has known hunger and poverty. She has vowed never to be poor again, and often makes odd aliances for greater monitary reward."

*slaps her hand down on the table as she laughs* "ima bellievir!" i get it i get it! Hehe, great name for the picture and the work is really, really great! Thanks for sharing!

:-) Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "You're welcome. While the pun is the highest form of language, it is often relegated to the lowest form of humor."

I like your idea for a character more than your drawing... it is still good though...

:-) Jeremy Clay Fowler-Lindemulder replies: "Thanx"

Ooooh, this is a nice pic! Her expression is much nice. But I think something is off about her arm, or her shoulder, although I'm not sure which. It might be that her forearm is too short or her shoulder is too narrow - I can't pinpoint it. It's nothin' big tho ^_^ Ach, anyway, I love your style man, it's great! *applauds merrily*

Ima Bellievir-Excellent name. May I ask if I'm a Believer ever crossed your mind for that one? It's great. *applauds* And I love her expression. It's great.
