| 3 Aug 2004 | Katharina Prinz | I don't think she needs a razor or wax. She's perserving, firm and compact. She's self-confident and does not need to appeal to anybody. She has no use for pink, lace, ladyshaves, diets or mirrors. This picture it really inventive, as it is a creation of a new kind of androgyny. Brilliant work! | |

| 2 Jun 2005 | Carolin Emily Southern | Hey, to whoever said she needs, a razor, plenty of us gals liek to be nothing added, nothing taken away, 100% natural, like me. I have hairy legs and like it! | |
| 11 Jun 2005 | Courtney | Not to mention that women shaving their legs is a very, VERY recent phenomenon. I imagine Eowyn didn't shave her legs. This is by far my favorite of your "Sphere" series, if not in your whole gallery. Very original and well done, all of it! J. ´Kythera' Contreras replies: "Thanks! For the backup and the comments. ^_^" | |
| 11 Jun 2005 | Certain lover of Legolas | Her face. I must comment on ze face. And ze hair. In those respects, she dosen't look like a woman. I like the legs, though. *heehee* kinda gross, but oh well. I imagine that someone that tough-looking who lives that close to nature wouldn't really care about taking a razor to her legs. J. ´Kythera' Contreras replies: "I can't help but notice that you don't seem to care for butch women. ;] Seriously... we are out there. Not all of us are perfectly curvacious and slender. Earth, here, is supposed to look butch. And hair on your legs isn't so gross. Everyone has it. Just not everyone shaves. ^_-" | |
| 11 Jun 2005 | Brenda Hellenthal | Perhaps the hair on the legs is a little bit overdone, if you compare it to her arms for example. But it does add a very nice earthy effect. It prooves that women can look good with hair on their legs. And perhaps it even feels soft. Very strong picture in all aspects. I like it lots. | |
| 11 Jun 2005 | Trevor Mathis | This is one scary woman. *shudders* I think this is the first picture I've ever seen when an artist actually adds leg hair to a barbaric female character. | |

| 28 Dec 2005 | Kaylan M. | Dude....she has a mullet.....and hairy legs....eeesh... Very nice idea but she kinda...is vury scary.... J. ´Kythera' Contreras replies: "Her spike-ish hairstyle is a bit of an inspiration from reading Slaine comics. And women haven't always shaved their legs, yanno. ;] I think she's only as scary as the viewer wants her to be." | |
| 11 Feb 2006 | Thomas P. Harms | Wow! This has got to be my favorite of ur spheres. Where did you get the idea to make these spheres? Are they elemental or what? Oh and how many are there?? So many questions!! Please let me know! ~Tom~ J. ´Kythera' Contreras replies: "Howdy! Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you... I think my comment emailes were borked for a while. Anyway... ^_^ There were originally around 24 Spheres planned for this series, but only two sets of four (the elements and the seasons). The rest were going to be pairs of opposites. My attention got drawn off to other projects, so Spheres stagnated after #19: War, which was the fifth Sphere I illustrated. Hmm. Hopefully I'll come back to this project someday. ^_^" | |
