| 20 Oct 2004 | Loki | Yup, he was my character for the White Wolf game Demon: the Fallen. I really appreciate the great work done with this pic and highly recommend Kythera as a commissioned artest. Thanx! J. ´Kythera' Contreras replies: "Thanks much! I really enjoyed working on this piece, and I'm glad you like it so much. Cheers! ^__^" | |
| 12 Feb 2006 | Starsoul | Wow. The shading in this picture is wonderfull. It really gives you the effect of night(even it you took out the dark background). And the almost contrasting lighting of the flame in his hand (could there also be a large bonfire before hin?). The way he is positioned and looking at you makes you scared for a split second. Keep up the good work! | |
| 31 Dec 2007 | Anonymous | "Volos" (and/or "Veles") is the name of an ancient god from Slavic Paganism. The old pagan religion is coming back, and you can find websites with information on this God as he is one of the main deities in the Slavic pantheon. He has horns and he is a god of wilderness and hunting, much like Herne or Cernunnos. You can easily find information by google searching on "Volos" and "god." If you're going to make evil demons, then it's a good idea to *not* name them after other people's sacred Gods. Just a thought. J. ´Kythera' Contreras replies: "If you're going to pontificate about something, it's a good idea to read the artist's description if you don't want to put your foot in your mouth. I didn't create OR name this character, I just drew him for a paying client. Just a thought. " | |
