SciFi and Fantasy Art: Memories Will Fade...

With Calis' death, Silverwynd finally realized how much he meant to her and that she wanted to be his Chosen... but it all ended too soon. He was gone and there was no way that he could return to her in that life.

She tried to ask his family for help, but they were no help. All they would say was that Calis was gone and she would just have to wait to see if he cared enough to come back to her or not. Everyone she asked told her the same thing... His spirit couldn't be found. He was gone.

So, she left her newborn child with Calis' family and searched for him. He couldn't have left... he promised her that he would always stay by her side. Always.

There was a horrible truth to his words. Calis was unable to pass on and remained by her side as a ghost, unable touch or even speak to her. All he could do was watch as the woman he loved descended into madness.
