SciFi and Fantasy Art: Birth of Butterflies

Butterflies who undergo their metamorphosis inside a restrained leviathan enter the world in a most dramatically brilliant way. --- The was a huge multi media experiment, (in that I used a lot of mediums) which is now rather old. I enjoy the concept and will probably create more images dealing with this theme.

Oooh, that's amazing! I'm in awe of your creative genius for thinking of something like this. Not only did you come up with this incredibly unique idea, but you also have the artistic talent to portray it properly. Wow. Have you ever read the short story "A Plague of Butterflies?" I think you'd like it.

*First comment curtsey.* What a fabulous piece! It would, indeed, make a good story. And your presentation is wonderful. I like the way the skin on the leviathan looks like it sewn at the seams where the butterflies break through, as if this has happened before. Really stunning work.
