I'm liking your usage of opposing colors to come up with the darkened areas of the skin. I am not a big color freek, but it seems that you look like you know what your doing. Though I normally don't like the comicish expression so often used in anime and animation alike, you seem to have a good hand on it as well. Keep up your work. You'll do well in your field.
