SciFi and Fantasy Art: Arctic Assault

Yes, at long last, here's another full color mech illustration. Though there is a noticeable Gundam influence, I tried to keep this design as original as I could, and as usual used no reference material. Once again I've used an arctic camo-style, and a suitable snowy background as well. The mech here is designed purely for terrestrial combat - rather blocky in shape, medium to heavy armor and a large shield. It's shown here firing its main weapon and has already discharged one of its missiles. The shield has several rows of hardened studs, making it quite useful as a close quarter offensive weapon.

Like Duke say: "I love big guns and I can not lie!" By the way: what is happened with the Woodland-Camo Mech idea? Maybe next time. Thanks Martin...I figured you'd like this one. I actually wasn't too sure about the arctic camo at first...I had a thought of switching to doing a desert version, but I stuck with my original idea.
