SciFi and Fantasy Art: Armor Kitty

This is another one of my favorite works, combining three of my favorite elements: a cat-girl, a katana and a big gun! I had a lot of fun with the lighting effects in this one, especially reflecting against her armor. I'm also quite pleased with her visor - gotta love layer opacity! As for her weapon, it's some hi-powered energy gun - something you wouldn't want her to aim in your direction. :) This is actually the welcome picture for my web page, hence the big paw symbol behind her.

I love the lighting and the way you do armor I am trying more mecha art as well but not doing to well on it I am afraid. heheheh not one for drawing women or men with clothing...it is actually quite difficult if its not your forte. Great colors here as well! Glad you like her - she's one of my favorites too! Doing the lighting effects in this was a lot of fun and adds a lot to the picture. Her face/visor also came out really well...you can see why I have her on the intro page to my website. Thanks for the comment!
