SciFi and Fantasy Art: Bigger Is Better! #1

Bigger is better! No, despite the voluptous nature of my felines, that's not what I'm talking about here. I mean BIG swords, axes, guns...and give 'em to cute cat-girls that shouldn't possibly be able to wield them, but in this series they do.

So, here's my first 'Bigger Is Better' entry and as a switch, I opted to do pencil drawing. Lots of shiny metal in this one, not to mention one hell of a sword. I initially wanted to draw a more 'cleaver' shaped blade, but in the end it turned out as sort of a mix of different blade shapes. In any case, it's pretty darn big...and of course there's a cute cat-girl holding it. Her gauntlets are purposefully a bit oversized...so perhaps they've got some enchantment to let her wield that weapon?

The sword dominates the pic but you can't take nuthin away from the kitten that's holdin it ;^) I just know this pic looks better "in the flesh" coz I can see that the scanner has not been kind to her Jeff >:^/ I also appreciate the work that goes into pencil pics, an as well as bein a slammin CG pixel painter, it is quite obvious that you are no slouch with the old graphite stick :^D Great work (as always) Jeff Keep huggin dem kitties ......and 'member when skribblin with pencils........ ......keep the pointy end down ;^)
