SciFi and Fantasy Art: Black Sentinel

Makes me want to work on my backgrounds more.. Nice sky!!! Ohh i like the concept too ^^ Great job with this one! Thanks much Kat!! I'm really starting to think more and more in terms of full pictures, not just the cat-girl. Trust me, I need to work on my backgrounds a lot too...the cityscape here isn't that sophisticated and I didn't really know what to do with the rest of the area behind the walls...but I love how all the cracks/rifts turned out. Very much fun to create. You see...I tell the truth when I say the best is yet to come (and you ain't seen nothin' yet! =).

Wow, great pic Jeff! Hmm, remember Me on "Blade Runner" or something. The Catgirl seems to be an "Dark Angel", a guardian of the future. She need a name, I mean You have created Zira for Your fantasy gallery, why not creating a character for the Sci-Fi gallery? Thanks very much Martin - I don't think I'd ever expect my work to be compared to "Blade Runner!" Yeah, she's a guardian of the future...though I've purposefully left the details blank. Well, I actually have thought of doing more with the cat-girl in my "Robe and Sword" picture, but my artistic tendency is to do lots of different characters/images rather than focus on just one or two. Though I do have another angel in here with a name...Twilight!

A dark atmostphere on this image. The sky is really great as well as the composition. The figure is a bit scary, beautifully drawn. Definitely a bit different from my standard art style...though I just couldn't resist the urge to create this one. I'll have to try to think up more images like this one. Thanks for commenting!
