SciFi and Fantasy Art: Demi

You're right about the wings, at first I thought "too heavy" but the more I look the more they 'feel' right :^) She's a cutie but I'm sorry, my heart still belongs to Zira ;^)Thanks for the comment - I'm glad you like her too! Zira's glad to get some more attention, but just becareful - she's my kitty. [hears broad sword being drawn] Um...scratch that last comment - gotta be real careful on that one.

Hey, Jeff! Thanks for commenting in my gallery again! This looks really nice! I love her expression, so cute and playful. Something about her legs throws me off, though. But it's 1 in the morning and I'm pretty tired, so maybe I'm seeing things. LoLz. Anyways, the linework is nice and so is the shading. I love her pose.!Wow - visitin at 1 in the morning and leaving a comment - I guess you really do like my work! Just kidding...seriously thanks for the comment. As for her legs...well I wasn't really concentrating on that part of the drawing...though she is supposed to be flying/floating so her legs don't have to be in a weight bearing stance. She does have a playful expression, though if I manage to do more drawings of Demi she'll be a lot more serious.

Wings. To me they do not look like "heavy angel wings" but more like demon wings with feathers on them. Perfect for a half and half. Perhaps a little more feather detail could be asked for but hey when i can do it i'll ask for it. And what the hell while i'm here this pic deserves a Wonderful Weasel Award >^.^ Thanks for the comment. As for her wings, well I did use my demon wing design to help me craft those for Demi, but these are what my angel-cat wings are like. A pure angel-cat wouldn't have the dark horns on them, but they'd have the same form as Demi's. One minor detail that might be hard to pick up - demon-cat wings always curve in, while angel-cat wings always curve out. WWA? Uh...thanks I guess... I'll have to visit your site (I really do try to do so for all my commenters though I'm sometimes a bit lazy about it - gomen!) Thanks again.

Hey~!~ I love the drawing~!~ I really wish I could draw as well as you~!~ Im a cat lover and in my RP character(which im atempting to get drawn) she's half angel and half demon as well~!~ She also is a shape shifter and such but anyhow I really love ur work and Im sure I'll come back to look at more of your art~!~ I love the eyes too Im fond of how well people do the eyes~!~ Plus the wings....I've been looking for a way to change my broing plain wings that turn out....ummm okay should we say....so I think ur wings gave me some ideas~!~ Don't worry I won't copy 'em~!~ But I love it~!~ Can't wait to see more~!~ Thanks...I'm glad you like my angel cat Demi! Gooo good very good it is so good i don't know what to say Thanks for your comment! I'm still fond of Demi...I wish I'd done more pictures of her but it's so easy to get distracted by other projects. I'm still proud of my angel wing design - definitely very unique - I have another angel-cat in my Zone gallery (feel free to say hi to Twilight!).
