SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lora the Demon Queen

'Just tell me what you're scanning for, Private.' 'PDTs.' 'What?' Oops...wrong gallery. :) Okay, here's another one that's been a long time coming - a very fine and fierce looking demon cat-girl. This is actually a pic request, so Megan here she is again. :) It's been a while since I drew a winged female demon and as my style has changed slightly over the years, Lora looks quite a bit different compared to my demon cat-girl at the beach. To be honest, I prefer my more recent incarnation. I spent a good deal of effort trying to keep her wings in symmetry, and of course make them look as wicked as possible. Demon cat-girls, unlike their angelic counterparts (see Demi pic) rely on magical enchantments as opposed to armor for protection in combat and as such tend to wear very little, though always have those enchantments contained in a specific item (in this case it's Lora's belt). The swords were fun to draw, especially the large cleaver-like one in her left hand. So, hope you all enjoy my latest winged feline.

The angle of her face and her expression are GREAT!

I also think that cleaver sword is really cool. Thanks for the comment! Lora here is actually showing her age a bit (in terms of my overall artwork quality) but I still like the sword designs too.

You are quite skilled, perhaps you would consider a new challange, drawing her angelic counterpart

The wings are good. That's pretty much it. Yes, I am intitled to my opinion, and yes, you are intitled to think that I'm a bee. All of your cat girl faces are always the same. Try drawing with different facial expressions (make this girl look more evil by tweaking the eyebrows and giving her a demonic smile rather than have her look like she just ate a bottle of valium). The shading is good, and the weapons are unique. You should practice by drawing her counter part, just make sure you broaden your artistic horizons.
