SciFi and Fantasy Art: Demon Slayer

Here's another mean looking kitty that's not just another pretty face. She originally started out as the third incarnation of my Excutioner series, but I saw a different route for this picture. She's not exactly what you'd expect a divine warrior to look like, but I tend to take an unconventional approach to some of my art. Her weapon is the holy artifact Heaven's Razor - it's a bit brutal in appearance, but then again it's not used for making cookies. She is not a kitty to be taken lightly, as her recently be-headed opponent realized too late.

*stares* ..wow! She kicks @$$ allright!!! 0.0 Love her axe.. and all the blood.. so much blood... Nice pencil work too although i have to admit id really like to see her colored ^^ *wink wink* (just think about all the fun you could have with the blood..) I also like the demon heads a lot ^^ Overall, its one of your best pics so far!! Well, i think its your best pencil pic.. i still like your latest Zira and Twilight more =P But if you color her... *wink wink again* hehehe Thanks Kat...glad you like her! Doing my picture of Misty really rekindled my passion for doing pencil only work (I still consider that picture my best graphite work recently...). I'll have to think about doing the coloring for this one - I'm still way behind in my coloring of Lora (the Demon Queen), and there's another non-cat-girl picture I need to get back too...plus there's a picture I need to work on for another contest in The Garden. Yeah, I would have fun with all that blood, so perhaps I'll add it to my ever growing art list. Thanks again! =)

i bet she kicks some serious butt Cool drawing dont think id want that kitty as a pet though Yeah, she kicks some major demon @ss...and chops off their heads too. 2 Just one thing about my cat-girls...they're no one's pets. 2 Anyway, glad you like her - thanks for your comment!

Gooey! Bloody! Yay! Die DIe die! Er.....n_n' I love it n_n Heh heh...yeah, it's pretty bloody compared to the rest of my work, but she's not at all squeamish. Thanks for the comment!

As usual, excellent detail work. The outfit is good and I like the skull on the shoulder. That is a nice blade too. Something like that would look good in my small collection. Thanks for the comment! I try to put in as much detail as I can, though sometimes I get lazy and take shortcuts where I can. A number of my female warriors have skulls in some form on their attire - helps reinforce the look that they mean business. I'm quite fond of Heaven's Razor myself - I like coming up with ferocious looking weapons. =)

I love the weapon... I can tenderize that big slab of
meat in the freezer. Oh, it'll do more than tenderize...works best against demons, undead and any other manifestation of evil. Thanks for commenting. =)

she is definitely cool, as a demon myself I can say that I wouldn't want to cross her. On that note...*dives out nearby window in fear*

very well done though. Heh heh...you escaped this time, but she'll be looking for you next time, ready to...give you a kitty hug! =) Thanks for the comment!

Wow............................... That is the best one so far i can't say a word Yeah, I'm still fond of this one myself...I think it's a combination of her pose, that axe and her expression that makes her such a bad@ss kitty. I'll have to color her at some point, but most likely will not happen soon. Thanks for commenting - the best is yet to come!

What is this about you copying pictures?! Tisk tisk. If your not original enough to make up your own creations, well, your not as talented as you think you are. And yes, I can think what I want. After all, I've known plenty of people that have tried to pull the wool over my eyes by tracing pics and saying that they are their own. They do it because they want to match up to my level (I'm not trying to brag, no worries). Just remember that other artists have the right to have people admire their work, and shouldn't have to worry about jealous attention seeking copy cats.
