SciFi and Fantasy Art: Midnight Delight!

p>This picture is a first for me - it's the first time I ever drew a vampire (in any shape or form), though of course I had to do it my way, and of course she's a cat-girl...and she's got a kitty friend too! I must thank Anneke Broenink for the idea of a contest on vampire pictures - I had never really considered the subject but I'm very fond of the idea I came up with here.

Overall I'm pleased with how this turned out, though doing two figures meant a bit more work (as well as two pairs of hands!). There's a lot of detail in here that isn't easily visible in this posting - please take a look at my close up picture provided. I toiled a while on the background but I think it came out okay as it is. I did have a lot of fun with the idea however...and I'd say this picture leaves room for some creative interpretation. *wink* So please feel free to share your thoughts...and of course, hug your vampire kitty! =)

I didn't necessarily say they're lesbians...though I didn't rule that out of course. I had fun with this picture...it didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped but I might try doing a revised version. 15 Dec 2003	Rebecca Carr	Loading... The way you use shapes and shading is very interesting; not your normal computer art. To be honest, I thought they were lesbians too when I first saw them. Though the content is dark, I must say, CUTE! I must admit that while I still like the idea of this, I don't like my exectution that much anymore...my coloring/shapes/shading has gotten sooo much better, but I might consider a remake of this one at some point. It's okay if you think they're lesbian kitties...I never ruled that out. Yeah, absolutely cute! Thanks for the comment!

I'm not overly fond with the idea that two females can be in such close proximity to one another too. Not to mention, if they are vampires, why don't you draw some fangs! What's a vampire picture without showing off those pearly whites?!
