SciFi and Fantasy Art: Stars And Stripes Forever!

I must admit I'm getting the hang of doing cel style shading...it's a bit more tricky in certain spots (especially the hair) but the results here speak for themselves. I always want to do a patriotic-colored picture for July but don't always end up getting around to it, but not this year. So, please enjoy my Stars-n-Stripes kitty - cat-girl in bikini art at its finest! :)

Hey that is sure a cute out fit! Thanks! I'm glad that the stars came out so well! *salutes the patriotic cat-girl*

A definitely good reason to get patriotic and
grow new found love for this country. Yup...she's definitely got plenty of "patriotic spirit." *wink* Thanks for the comment!

Really lovely picture. The colour of her hair is wonderful. At first I had planned on giving her blonde hair (for a more classic American model look...) but I experimented a bit and really like this shade too. One of my best "cat-girl in bikini" pictures ever! Thank for commenting!

Oh, I like this! But maybe that is just because I am feeling patriotic today and all. Anyway, great design on that suit and the colors of the ocean and sky go well together. Only thing I see you may want to look at is her hand, it seems too small compared to the rest of her. I shape looks right, just the size looks off 2 Hands...hands are my nemesis - the most difficult part for me to draw. But overall I like this one a lot myself as well. I'm pleased that the stars on her bikini top came out as well as they did...saved by the pen tool again! Even though it's an easy background to do, I do like blue-skies and aqua oceans - it really helps add a positive, happy spirit to my work. Though a smiling cat-girl helps too. 12 Thanks for the comment!

Yo Anonymous, it's called "Free Speech" and sometimes "Constructive Critisizm" sorry for my spelling. Anyways, I think you need to make her face look a bit younger and fix those gorilla arms a bit.
