SciFi and Fantasy Art: Tempest & ElspethQueues's two main characters... (Elspeth's the really really short one). and no, Tempest is not inordinately tall. She's about 5'6' maybe? sound right, Betsy? which mean's Elspeth is just that short. *grin* | |

Hehehe  Jena Marie Lombardi replies: "Umm, while I think you for commenting (and while I don't want to seem too defensive or like I'm jumping on you unreasonably about anything), I'd just like to state one thing for the record. I admit that there IS a bit of a Hiei/Kurama resemblence here, (one that I cringed when I realized a couple months ago), in that the tall one has red hair and the short has black and silver. But (for the record) Tempest & Elspeth have been around for (counts on fingers) 4 (going on 5) years now, far longer than it's been since I heard of YYH, and your comment feels as if it's implying that I "borrowed" the character designs in some way. Queues is the name of the fantasy manga that I'm drawing with my friend Betsy (who's linked on my main page, not sure if html works in these little comment spaces so I'm not going to try), and Tempest & Elspeth are the two main characters therein. Slight comedy, magic, elves and generally saving the world. There's plot, too, but since Betsy's the only one who can keep all that straight I'll just not go into it here. " | |
