SciFi and Fantasy Art: Angel of Destruction

I created her for something I wrote the first few chapters of, then realized that the exposition was stupid, and that I had no idea where to go from where I was. Anyway, she's cool. Basically, creature born from the collective frustration of the populous over the state of the world. She sits on top of buildings contemplating how to destroy society's current chains to bring about revolution for the good of the world. (If anyone is actually familiar with the same mangas that I am, you'll realize that I have an affinity for apocalyptic stuff).

What you said in the description rather brings to mind 'X', by CLAMP. Well, to me, anyhoo -- it's about the only manga I recall owning that has this pervasive dooms-day theme. ^^; Nevertheless, it's a very interesting concept you have here, and perhaps you'd like to continue writing what you've started some other time. But to digress; her wings look slightly warped, or broken, but I like the effect. The perspective you've chosen renders her in a somewhat secretive light, face turned away from the viewer and all. Nice work. ^^

:-) Winifred Von Jenovia replies: "She is very secretive, no one is allowed to quite sure created her nor why she is there, or even what she is. X has a very heavy influence on myself, and would have the most prevalent theme of uncoming destruction, though Angel Sanctuary (with almost the same premise of X) has an element on oncoming apocalypse to it, and by a little stretch Utena does as well."

I know what it feels like to start a story and then after you've something written down...you don't like it or don't have a plot for a story.I do that all the time -.-; except I normally don't get past the 4th page ^^;; lol. Anyways she does look mysterious and putting her on the edge of a building was a good idea.
