Jen, I love this one too. To me it`s like a tapestry woven on velvet night cushions. Here`s that blood red you use so well, clustering round her face and giving depth to a picture that also has tensions of flatness, as in Mughal art. The green burnish of her flesh balances beautifully with the red and against the blue depths....the whiteness of the horn moon being the classic escape tunnel for the eye, and the tone that lifts everything else. Oh how many times have I like Van Gogh wandered out into the valley clumps under moons and felt the touch of the hanging ivy and elder on my cheeks, to wonder what this whole world is about and who I really am. And to find out if colour is really richer in the night.Love Andy.

Winterchill... uh, does that mean she has really frost-bit hard nipples? oh that goes without saying,,,except i guess in yer case Go figure, you hid them with palm trees. yer eyes are going that was my attempt at an ivy like plant type thing.palm trees indeed. 12 Hey, she reminds me of the undead fox spirits from old chinese horror movies... that didn't occur to me! very interesting. the ones that always seduce the heroes, but then someone would come and drive them away... people don't like too much pleasure doncha know. all's the pity, 'cause they were usually way cuter than the starlets. of course .people set it up so the really spirited women charecters often the cutest ones too, can do their thing but must always be seen to lose in favor of the good little woman type.heaven forbid they could be seductive and good.blah is right! Blah. i just said that. Life is sad that way, eh? 12 it certainly is.people can't handle contradictions in women charecters that often.tho its getting better. this puritanical shit has got to go.

Again, let me state for the record that I very rarely know what you are doing. You send so many signals at once that I fear I may be missing an important one or perceiving a less important part as being the crux of the whole. And...you do it beautifully.

I see blood-stained lips and an unrestful night. Not quite anguish, but maybe something that could grow into it once numbed feelings thaw...

That color scheme is extraordinary! I think the title really fits it too...this picture is so crisp that it gives you the feel of winter. The entire composition and color scheme, coupled with the overall harmony makes for one awesome picture! *GRIN*
