| 22 Jan 2001 | Nancy L (Timpanelli) Middleton | Yes, this is exactly what they look like, I've seen them dancing in my woods on certain nights. | |
| 5 Feb 2001 | Vitia Simone | Oh wow she is fun! Your pictures make me want to dance! | |
| 6 Feb 2001 | Andy Willis | Perhaps this is an Ent? To me it is one of the fir trees down by Picchu Clumps. You have done this beautifully, with all the fibrous strandings in the tree-soul's bark being the rivers of life in its vein-fabric. There's no doubt that there are spirits in trees. You feel it more and more each time you return to the place where a tree stands. I think they are glad of the company. If you talk to them it never goes amiss. This is beautifully done in the tradition of Rackham's metamorphic trees and the root-knots in the hair of Froud`s faeries. Again you show superb colour sense in the setting of that deep brown-orange against the citric luminosity of the firmament behind. (You could scan this whole work in by putting the picture in the scanner at several different angles and trimming them to fit each other in a Paint Programmme.) Big love from Andy. | |

| 13 Feb 2001 | John Teall | i was going to say almost exactly the same thing as n.t. above - this is how i too have seen them in the forrests where i grew up - and later when i read of tolken's ents what could be their very close relatives came to mind too ... ~ | |

| 19 Oct 2002 | S 'faething' VanDenEng | The artworks you do in this style seem like spellfire to me. They are so magical and invigorating to look at. - Powerful imagery, Jennifer! Such unique visions of spiritual naturalism... erm... or is it naturalist spiritualism? What fairies must be at play around you! I can only imagine... and this picture inspires one to do just that! Excellent, work! | |
