| 27 Feb 2006 |  Tim | Hey, out of curiosity, i was wondering if you use stencils? Its body is shaped so smoothly... Well everything is shaped very smoothly really. Pretty incredible though. Amazing job   Jennifer Alice Peters replies: "No I would never use stencils for my artwork, I did use a ruler for the window, but everything else is freehand. The smooth curve just comes with years of practice. It's funny when I look at some of my older serpentine drawings and I'll remember thinking at the time how well I thought I did making a smooth curve, but when I look at them now with a few more years of perspective I think "gah that's what I thought was a nice smooth line?" Anyway just goes to show what practice and a good eye can achieve. Thanks for the comment!" | |
