SciFi and Fantasy Art: Higercaw

This was my entry to a contest being held by a DA artist "dizturbed." The goal of the contest was to combine three animals; scarlet macaw, tiger, and horse. I loved the idea, since I love anything to do with hybrids, so here was my stab at it.

Jennifer Alice Peters replies: "I'm purely an amatuer surrounded by people far better than I here at elfwood and other art sites. It's a humbling experience to be side by side with other great artists, but it pushes me to be better. And perhaps one day I might be so lucky as to land some sort of job with my skill. But for now, I'm just an amatuer with dreams of grandeur."

Congrats on the Mod's Choice as well. This definitely deserves it. Jennifer Alice Peters replies: "I've really been trying to work with more dynamic poses, so easy to fall into drawing a side portrait or something easy. This pose was a challange, I'm glad it paid off "
