You are the best artist i have seen yet , you are fab with colouring (unlike myself) and i wish one day to become just as good as you , but iol have a very long way to go before i meet your high standard. Can you give me any tips on colouring with normal pencils? My colouring really lets em down and embarrasses me when i show my art to people .

For now I'm just an amatuer thats been at this for quite awhile. As for using colored pencils, the first thing you can do is making sure you're using a high quality colored pencil, I use prisma myself but there are other good quality brands like derwent and a few others. This is important for getting a rich and vibrant color, that you wouldn't be able to get with say crayola or rose art. Secondly: layers are your friend. You can look at my "Dark one" picture for an example of layering colored pencil. Layers are necissariy to give your picture depth and life, and pencils like prisma blend very well together. Another useful tip, if you don't want to use another medium like water color or markers for backgrounds and large areas, is to buy some colored card paper. Working on say a black or red sheet of paper with colored pencil can achieve some amazing results. That's about all I have for tips on colored pencil, hope it helps, and goodluck with your art endevors 2"
