Yasmin is a young genie, former harem girl whose master didn't think her pretty enough so he paid someone to turn her into a genie and made her go into a the bottle, then the bottle got stolen before her master got a change to use her powers. her bottle, unopened ended up in Gilded Rose Inn where is was opened by the Faun Riordan.

after some talking he wished that she never had to wish again just becuse he or anyone else asked her for a wish, in other words gave her freedome. They two fell in love and she lives in his tree.cave house in the woods. however her old master is out to reclame what he thinks is his. But rio is having none of that
