SciFi and Fantasy Art: Butterfly Cat Coloured

When I finally got to colouring it I decided I didn't quite like the original head and things so I ended up redrawing it and ended up with this in the end. :) Coloured with coloured pencils. My scanner unfortunetly ate some of the colour. :}

29 Oct 2000		Loading... eh I like this too! I like the colours in this to they go together well. What i don't understand is that her face looks sorta like a cat face?

Just kidding on the phrasing, but I do mean it, the colour choice and the litle details...the locket...the lily...really add to it. Do you own a cat? The muzzle on this one seems just a little off somehow, although it's certainly difficult to meld a cat's head with a human body. One of the artists who drew Bast in Neil Gamin's Sandman series did an excellent job, and doing some practice heads couldn't hurt anyone. Not even me...<eyes his sketchpad>
