SciFi and Fantasy Art: She just woke up...

So, it's not that she just rolled out of the wrong side of the bed this morning, more that the character just woke up from a traumatic experience and is a little insane at the moment. It doesn't really look like most of my other Justice pictures, but hey, I'm refining her... :) It IS supposed to be my little Justice, ergo no eyes.

The dark scribbles are my way of trying to portray blood through pencil. I think I might have half succeeded here, though if I look too much it starts to look like some weird camouflage. Since I seem to enjoy burning myself out on a particular picture by redoing it way too many times, I think I'll be brave enough to redo this one in color as well... after all, this is probably the crappiest of crappy scans, but most of my pencil lines were light and needed to be artifically darkened and contrasted, thus poor picture quality.

I know that you've based this picture on your other Justice drawings but the angry expression, the blood on her hands, as well as the claw-like finger-tips kind of reminds me of a Succubus or perhaps some other female demon. In fact, it's as though she just killed someone in a fit of unstoppable rage. Since your story caption mentions that she just woke up did she kill someone for inappropriately awaking her. After all, why else would there be blood on her hands?
