SciFi and Fantasy Art: Feylin Flit

1995
My first ever role-playing character! I finally tried it! :) She was SO much fun.... I only ended up playing in 2 or 3 games, and none of the other characters were NEARLY as cool as her... ::adoring sigh:: I could bore you all with my stories about how wonderful she was, but I'll refrain.

She IS cool. Anyway she just looks very good. Lovely colour on clothing, the detail in the hair is spectecular. I guess what I'm saying is, I'd never be able to achieve the cleaness in this pic. ;-)

Nice drawing. I like the coloring, wrinkles, character, etc. I feel like I could snag my shirt or poke an eye out on those ears! Nice work!

She is so cute. I love the wings and the outfit is great. My favorite parts of her have to be her hair and her eyes, though.

I love the fae. The colouring is beautiful, very exquisite. How did you do the background? Anyway, it looks good, and very effective too.

Feylin here was drawn on printer paper... the background was done with a rollerball pen, if I remember correctly... She herself was drawn with color pencils... crayola? It's been a while, I don't think I had my prismas yet... I often toyed with the idea of lightly showing some color from the branches/leaves through her wings... Giving them a translucent appearance and still keeping her as the only color in her environment... Never got around to it though. Mainly because I got disgusted with the background, to be honest... Maybe now that I'm learning digital art I can fix her?... But I'm babbling now.

Popping around Elfwood, looking at other people's art, I think the best part is when you see something unique, something different, something that WORKS and is a total inspiration to grab your own pencil (or whatever)and start playing. This is such a picture!

Thank you, I'm honored.

She is so wonderful! I adore her hair. Colored pencil, right? Eee! Should color the background maybe? Noo...don't listen to me. Her wings are so large....oooohhh, and if you remember me at all, I responded a bit to the nature of faerie wings to your comment. 19) Thanks for all the great comments and advice.

2 Ah, yes - Mr. Froud. Well, he is the expert. 2 I like your faeries very much.

This is amazing. I'm wowed for the evening. The hair shading is especially nice, and I like the insect quality you've given her eyes. Best of luck with the surgery, and keep drawing.

Breathtaking. Very beautiful and very realistic. I like how you did the coloring, it gives it a very original look.
