SciFi and Fantasy Art: 01-06dragonite

The Dragonite is a nasty little creature from the arcane realms. They live almost exclusively in the high mountains of Eastern Kargoth. They can fly short distances move very quickly over land. Their primary attack is a bit attack. They coil their necks and strike like a snake. Their powerful jaws lock onto whatever they hit and then they pounce on the target and rip and tear with their clawed front arms. Occasionally, if on the defensive, they have been known to kick like mules with their powerful hind legs or lash at opponents with their tails. This is very rare though as they are very seldom on the defensive. Though they are not very large they hunt in highly organized packs of 4-12 and kill anything intellegent they encounter, even if they have no interest in eating it. This combination of strategy and ferocity strikes fear into all that encounter them. Dragonites are extremely loyal to their own pack and will lay down their own lives to protect the others of their pack.
