SciFi and Fantasy Art: 00-05Aerolynn

Aerolynn started off as a Shienaran Warrior that I used to play on a mud called the 'The Creator's Shadow'. She has since evolved into a Knight of Thorn in a RPG Engine called 'Arcane Realms'(tm) that I'm working on. She is a Warrior/Mage from the costal plains of Kargoth.

Dang! She is a TURBO-Babe! Really nice pose, color and composition. I am not sure that purple in the mountains really goes with the other colors, but this is a very minor point. Really cool work! Thanks for the input, I'll play with the mountains and let you know how it turns out 2

Hehe it's those 'babes in bikinis' pics! lol I can see the definite comic influence in this one and I love that 'back off or else' look on her face. One thing you might try to do is unify the pic. You have all these beautiful vibrant colors, but they are all seperated rather than blended together. Does that make any sense? Those purple mountains don't really bug me, because you see cool colors in the background of daylight scenes, but the only thing is, you don't see any more purple or blue used in the pic. That is causing it to be more seperated from the rest of the scene. Perhaps you could add little splashes of blue or purple in her outfit or in the ogre/orc thingy. Me apologize for long winded post. 2The comment isn't long winded unless it's not saying anything and your comment said a lot of good stuff 12 Very good points all of them. I remember hearing that unity thing over and over in art classes my brain just hasn't embraced it yet. Thank you for the reminder

Thanks for the comment2 Hmmm, definitely comic-influence2 You've got the weird way-too-skinny-to-be-real, and next to naked woman. Yep, comicy2 argh! these poor women will die of starvation! they will be periced with the first warrior they come opon! C'mon, give em some armor, eh??? Hehe, that's cool you have your own game and stuff2 chuckle, IMHO armor is only useful to the unskilled or in mass combat, otherwise it slows the wearer down. Arcane Realms reflects this 12 + I like half nakid women. I do try to make the women I draw healthy, but right now I'm learning to lean them out a bit cause some times they end up looking more like men than women 8

Yep can definately see the comic influence there, since I get influenced by the same thing. A thing that struck me odd was her face. It looks flat in comparison to her body. Perhaps a bit more shading? nod I need to work on not being quite so subtle with coloring faces. There's a rework of this pic in the process. I'll keep your advice in mind, but I'll blame you if she ends up looking like a hag... j/k

Hrm........ I'm quite fond of her expression. She's definitely a well-trained warrior. (*lol* you can tell because of the facial expression or her attire? )Thank you Shara

Good scene structure. I like the tree. Work on hands, and hip placement for weight. (I am also still very weak on hands) Background fits well with the piece. Simple but believable. Nice work overal.Hands and feet are a beast! I've been working a lot on them and on hip placement and stance... My newer stuff is better, but it still needs work ;o)

Well out of all i have seen today this is your worst. no offense. from her waist down is a bit too odd. well have a fun time drawning.

:-) Jeremy Campbell replies: "  There are some very odd things about this picture but for it's time it was one of the best I'd done. I'll take the comment as a compliment as this is one of the first pictures I did here in the gallery."

I like the scenery (nice mountains) and the green guy, but the lady looks like she has some proportion problems. If her proportions were fixed, she would look real good.
Her waist and upper hips look too narrow, and her abdominal area look sto far forward. Her upper arm looks a little too skinny, her neck a tad too skinny too. And the line above each breast could be deleted. Her head, legs and collar bone look nice though.

:-) Jeremy Campbell replies: "  she does have some very funny proportions ( I must have been smokin some of that ghostly grass when I was drawin her LOL"
