SciFi and Fantasy Art: 00-07A Chubby warrior

This is a concept sketch for one of my favorite types of characters. They aren't very good looking or intimidating so they disappear into crowds. When fighting breaks out very seldom is this type of character involved from the out set. They usually slip in through the back and find something heavy to hit the bad guys over the head with.

Although, it would be a little hard to stay un-noticed with an ax that big.......and no comments yet, are they all nuts?!

:-) Jeremy Campbell replies: "  He usually leaves the axe under the table when he's sneaking up on someone. Plus he's fat so everyone figures he can't use it right anyway *giggle*"
