SciFi and Fantasy Art: 00-11A Party from Arcane Realms

This is a party of characters from the game I've created called Arcane Realms. The character races have the same name as some of the standard rpg races, but they are very different. There is a reason for this, but I haven't revealed it yet and won't until I get the adventure finished. The character in the forground is a Human male Warrior. He is the designated spokesman for the group. The Elven female behind him to the left is the party mage and advisor. The little guy in the front, a goblin, is the groups stealth expert. Despite his size he's really dangerous in combat. Especially when he works in tandem with the brute in the background. The massive fellow is a Troll. He is an outcast among his people as he would rather resolve a dispute with words than fists. Many a troll has learned the hard way that just because he'd rather talk, that doesn't mean he can't dance.

Boy. I love group images like this. I have a few kicking around from other folks that used to draw in my gaming groups from a few years back. I have been thinking about posting them somehow on my personal site. Not much can be said but this is good. ANd shows how much fun a good game group is. Nice work.jep jep I couldn't agree more, I really miss the group I used to play with.

Aren't elves supposed to be the same height or a little taller than humans?hehe now the comment from the color version makes more sense. As far as I know elves are generally shorter than humans. Not really sure how Tolkien saw them, but I read the Lord of the Rings after I'd played DnD for years so I always pictured them as shorter. I'm pretty sure tho that elves of folklore were much smaller than humans as they were of the farie folk?

Elves are generally between 4-5 feet tall half elfs are around the same height as a human but generally a little shorter.

:-) Jeremy Campbell replies: "  Traditionally that's correct. However this size relationship is for a game world I've been working on. Female Elves are much smaller than the males. But males tend to be much taller than the average human. Why? You'll have to follow the game to find out!"

I like it except the troll looks like something out of DragonballZ

:-) Jeremy Campbell replies: "  doh! hope the anatomy isn't that bad?"

The "Human warrior" seems a bit out of proportion.... his upper body muscles are too big with a small head...

:-) Jeremy Campbell replies: "  wince you are correct, I tend to draw ppl heroicly proportioned ie 8.5 heads tall but his head is way too small, I just noticed all their faces are too big for their heads too..."
