SciFi and Fantasy Art: Blackheart, The Fianna Garou

This one goes back at least a year and a half to two years. I had a friend who drew a sketch of his character but wanted to see how I would render him. So this is the result, a celtic werewolf in his human and crinos forms. (the big 10+ foot tall form is the crinos)

Heh, Jere i was just surfing today and found that you posted this -- i'd almost forgotten it, which would've been a shame indeed! As the picture's subject, i can verify that it is indeed a very well done pic, and is exactly what i ordered. I am still in your debt. I think i still have the concept sketch i gave you to work from, actually... Ah, the good ol' days...! Jeremy> No doubt good ol' days man...I drew this way back when I was still on graveyards. I couldn't believe how well he was unfolding for my abilities at that time. I'm still fairly impressed at how well he came out... though I'm sure I could do better.

Ooh, is he wearing anything under that kilt? *G* Heh. I like this picture, very good! I approve, and so does my own Garou (one of 'em, anyhow). *Caroline, the Gnawer, nods enthusiastically.*

Celtic things are always good. Including this wolf. Great job!

Just wanna say that "Celtic" lands include Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. Kilts are Scottish, therefore it is not strange for a Fianna to wear them. Fianna are not all Irish... they are _Celtic_. People just play the Irish aspect of Fianna to death....

Well done on the art work. As many of my characters are Scottish Fianna and none are I rish, I love the kilt. The above comment is correct, Fianna are Celtic, and for those whom think they are only Irish, it is time to do a little homework, kiddies. Beautiful job.

Excellent! Love the artwork, especially the pose of the Crinos. I sketch a little, but my work isn't a patch on your sketches here.

Not that this will mean much... coming from a lowly Ragabash BoneGnawer... but, well, I hope you like the praise all the same 2

I agree, so what if the kilt (philimore)i'na "correct," this is a beatutiful piece of art, I wonder if I could get this guy to draw my portrait? HMMM, oh and buy the way, like as not the Scotts are Irish, they were the Irish sept Scott before moving to Scottland, and the Irish wore kilts too, not tartans (the paterned kilts) but solid colours, so all ye fianna that hail from Erin, feel free to let the breeze flow freely about yer bits.
