| 13 Feb 2004 | Michelle M Hyde | It's so BEAUTIFUL! I love it! XD You made Likimeya just as I imagined her! We didn't saw much of Likimeya during the books and I tried to bring the war lady with her black armor together with the wife and mother. I always wondered what kind of mother she is. Didn't anyone else recognize she was speaking to her son only one time during the book in a manner the reader could understand? *sighs* | |
| 13 Feb 2004 | Camilla M. Drakenborg | This is really beautiful! Love the colors!*bows* For me the coloring of a picture is the most important task in the matter of creating a ground emotion for the pic... | |
| 14 Feb 2004 | Mel Barry | WOOWW!!! This picture is so beautiful!!! The eyes, the face, the hair...all I can say is wow. How did you do all that? And what is a sithi? I'm dying to know since you portray them so beautifully. BTW, I also like (more like love) CLAMP manga. Anyway, keep up the great work! The Sithi or Zida'ya are an ancient elven tribe of a fantasy book series called Memory, Sorrow and Thorn (written by Tad Williams). Their behaviour and way of life shows lot of asian (especially japanese) influences...I can't describe it...you really should read the books. | |
| 8 Mar 2004 | Wicked Snowhamster | That is A LOT of hair. I mean, my hair is to my shoulders, and washing it is craziness. That much hair is just beyond my comprehension. You did a good job with her tummy. I can see that she isn't "very" pregnant, but she obviously needs help balancing, and Shima'onari's shoulder is propping her well. Good attention to detail. the real craziness is not to wash them but to dry them ... but Sithi are immortal so I guess the have a lot of time to take care of their hair...the author told us that the Sithi are colouring their hair...normally they all have white hair (that's why Likimeya has white eyebrows) I'm happy you like her tummy...it was difficult to do because I'm not sure about pregnancy among the Sithi...they are elves - so their hips are small...Sithi babies couldn't be that big or their mothers would have a really tough time by giving birth to them | |
| 16 Aug 2004 | Brittany 'Autumn RiverRose' Cali | Such pretty hair.... ...and lots of it *chuckles* | |
| 20 Aug 2004 | YesItsMe | I like it. Everything is beautiful, except for his hair. I'm not big on men who have more hair than I do. > but other than that the picture is beautiful. Good feeling. well, never forget we are talking of an almost immortal elven tribe - this guy's hair had over a millennia to grow and no hair-dresser around. *g* well, he was described at the book of having long hairs which were 'tied high atop his head'... | |
| 14 Nov 2004 | Marcus | This is art *bows* Thanks... | |
| 15 Nov 2004 | Jan-Chrstian Jöhnk | That's quite a head of hair. well, both - male and female - haved lived over 1000 years so the hairs had a long time to grow | |
| 2 Dec 2004 | Kristiana Marie | What's wrong with being fluffy? Tad Williams has to see your art, Jess. He'd love it! well, I'm not totally sure if I will ever tell him about this gallery. I'm so shy...and I fear his displeasure *is looking to the floor* | |
