SciFi and Fantasy Art: Norn

Once again I'm returning to the world of Tad Williams 'Memory, Sorrow and Thorn'. After doing so much Sithi I decided it was time to turn to their pale cousins: the norns. Different from the  the nornqueen and Ineluki I did a nameless villian this time. A male norn full armed for the war with the mortals and the sithi. The background means to show the foothills of Nakkiga - dark, cold and misty.  Those of you who read the books may remember that the norns where called 'White foxes'  by some of the mortals. This nickname inspired me to give my norn more fur-like hair although it was descripted different in the books. I couldn't helped it - the idea of a fox-like creature refused to leave my mind.

The picture was done in Photoshop completely and I did enjoy to work with black, grey and white although there are enough of these colours during the recent winter season. Count it to the products of my seasonal affective disorder ^_^
