SciFi and Fantasy Art: Azure Hurt (Again)

Poor gryphon never gets a break. Same blue gryphon character as before only painfully impaled this time. I can't say how this will turn out yet because it hasent happend.

Looks like he's been impaled by a long kitana blade. I think adding some ground below him would serve to better "ground" the image and explain why he's not just lying on straight ground. Nice work on the kitana's colors where the blood is hinted at as if having soaked it. As for the head I find difficulty with the lower jaw being a bit short. The blood I think would look more liquid if colored in as the kitana blade is without the hard lining. Nice wing tufts.

Ohhhh. Poor critter. Needs Dr. McCoy. Well, at least I now know who Azure is... He should stay out of mischief, because it doesn't seem to agree with him. And, NO! I didn't gut a gryphon for the details of Gryphonic entrails.....

Hmmm. You should do your loyal fans the courtesy of a few before and after pics: how it happened, what happens after; what does the enemy look like right now? Humor us, now that you have us wondering!
