SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sad Goodbye

Drawn in ballpoint pen at a point in time that I thought I was going to lose a good friend. Luckily she pulled through so to speak. For a bit more explination the gryphon would have been me and the dragon her. Yeah I know the guys have no faces and are kinda dumb looking but theres some symbolism behind that. I think...Thats what I have told everyone so far anyways so I must be right. I am still working on scanning correctly, though this one turned out better then others.

Wow, this pic is really striking........ M'thinks it's actually better for that the dude has no face, it's, uh, dramatic, or something. As you can see, I know exactly what I'm talking about. Yeah.

Hmmmm Zan, sounds like ya know what I am talking about. This picture actualy has alot more distance between the two, I had to cut out the middle to make it fit on the page. My brother commented that it wouldent be hard to grab hold of eachother at this distance...but still, It is alot further on paper. I like it though, It is not my best but it is one I have alot of reason for liking other then its quality. Namely that things worked out fine in the end.

Being dragged away from each other as the cruel world rips them apart...both too weak to fight back...

I have one sorta like that, except that I drew it when I thought things were gonna be great, but they turned out crudy... I'll have to scan that some time and show it to you.

Gee, I wonder what the story is behind this. BTW, your little gryphon's so cute at that size. And the dragon? I can see Steve (Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!) hauling him off. Now, what if that was what was actually going on here....
