SciFi and Fantasy Art: As the Friendship Grows (WIP)

What to say about this piece. Well for one I was simply sitting awake at some ungodly hour of the morning when the inspiration to draw this hit me. I wanted to make the girl a central part of the image but also show the large dragon around her and give some idea that he is MUCH larger then she is without using a 20x24 sheet of paper and going nuts with the inking and coloring. I love how this pair evolved over time and I think this one will be my best piece yet of this pair.
