SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lady in Winter

if you must View this pic I recomend you to find and listen to 'Galway' by Emiko Shiratori. It's aboslutelu perfect for this piece. *Fubuki Story* Legends say that a long time ago when the Earth was ruined by darknesss the Goddess of that world left with her remaining people to another planet to survive while their old home slowly fixed it self back into it's former glory. The Goddess asked the most powerful of all dragons to cover the entire planet in ice and to watch it's slow recovory. Fubuki nodded that day and did just that. To remain alone till the time for humans to populate this world comes again.

Blue's my favorite color, and the dragon and the cat are just awesome. Their wings are beautiful!

I've made alot of comments today, all for Jess-chan's pics, my back is hurting and school is annoying, but enough about me! I think that Jess is just getting better and better from drawing to drawing, i bow to her most humble-like *bows to one knee and looks up* This is one of the best pics I've seen in my life. *Stands and folds his wings around him* Sorry, that was probably a little wierd, I became my Sinari persona in full, I am writing a book about a winged man named Sinari. I am rambling.....

The background is gorgeous, But compared to it's more natural 3D look, the characters are too 2D. I suggest shading more with the darker blue (say in her skirt or her leggings) and then add more drastic highlights. I liek your choice of colors and the many different blues do tie the whole picture together in the sense of color scheme, just work on making your figures more 3D and less flattened and this picture would really come to life ^_^ Bai bai and all that jazz!

It's such a pretty scene, with the snow! And creative, very, ^.- Never doubted your skills...how long have you been so wonderful at drawing? Who knows...but...it's so good! And this is probably one of my favs because of the whole snow scene...I love winter, xD.
